Now that we’ve made halfway through the television season, it’s time to readjust our DVRs once again.
Midseason staples returning to the airwaves include American Idol, 24 and Lost. Meanwhile, a number of new programs - including Human Target, Parenthood and The Marriage Ref - will vie for our attention.
Hopefully our detailed guide can assist you in the weeks to come. We have compiled information from the five major networks and included the days, times and premiere dates for this season’s programs.

Sunday Ratings: Survivor Stands Strong Against Football

Survivor: Samoa might not have ended the way many fans would have liked, but it still left CBS happy. The 3-hour event helped CBS win the viewers last night while NBC hung on to the demos.
8pm
- Sunday Night Football (15.8 million, 5.6/14 in 18-49) was down by 2.1 million.
- Survivor: Samoa (4.5/11) wrapped up with 14.2 million.
- The Simpsons* (3.8/10) turned in 8.2 million.
- The Santa Clause 3 (1.9/5) got 7.1 million feeling festive for ABC.
- The Cleveland Show* (2.8/7) scored 5.9 million.

Here’s a quick look at some of the casting announcements made recently:
True Blood: A list of men have been added to the vampire drama’s third season. Theo Alexander has been cast as Talbot, the vampire king of Mississippi’s boyfriend. Ugly Betty‘s Grant Bowler (Connor Owens) will climb on the bike to portray Coot, a werewolf and biker gang leader. Meanwhile, Marshall Allman (Prison Break) will guest star as Tommy Mickens, Sam’s long-lost sibling.

Sunday Ratings: Wedding High for Brothers & Sisters

Nothing says ratings like a long-awaited wedding. Last night’s episode of Brothers & Sisters gave the drama its best ratings of the season. Unfortunately, commitment-phobes - once again - fueled NBC’s football Sunday.

- Sunday Night Football (18.3 million, 6.8/17 in 18-49) sacked another 1.1 million.
- The Amazing Race finale (12.3 million, 3.7/9) hit a season high in viewers.
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (10.3 million, 3.0/7) remained level.
- FOX’s BCS Selection Show (3.4/9) attracted 8.6 million.
- The Simpsons* (2.6/6) had 5.6 million laughing.

Sunday Ratings: Touchdown for NBC

There’s nothing NBC loves more than football Sunday. Last night’s game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers gave the network something to thankful for over the holiday weekend.

- Sunday Night Fooball (17.2 million, 6.6/16 in 18-49) had 2.1 million more cheering.
- Approximately 11.6 million saw the Globetrotters eliminated from The Amazing Race (3.4/8).
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (10.3 million, 3.0/7) slipped by 1.3 million.
- The Simpsons (8.9 million, 4.2/10) added on 1.9 million; The Cleveland Show (7.1 million, 3.5/8) raised another 600,000.

- Lie to Me (FOX, 9pm): “Cal, Foster and Reynolds go all in to find a missing finalist from the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, where Cal must determine if the other players are being straight with him about the disappearance.” The MIA player later resurfaced after making a royal flush.
- Hoarders (A&E, 10pm): Season premiere. “The opener follows the efforts of an adult son to help his mother, a hoarder whose compulsive behavior led to the son’s removal from the home 14 years earlier.” He was sent away with enough underwear to last him a lifetime.

- Approximately 19.1 million watched the Colts beat the Patriots on Sunday Night Football (7.5/18 in 18-49).
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (11.6 million, 3.6/9) nailed down 1.2 million more.
- The Amazing Race (11.6 million, 3.2/8) added on 1.1 million.
- The Simpsons (9 million, 4.2/10) did 1.6 million better than last week’s Family Guy; The Cleveland Show (7 million, 3.3/8) hit a demo low.

Now that baseball is finally over, it’s time to get back to the gridiron. Last night’s game between the Dallas Cowboy and the Philadelphia Eagles gave NBC something it hasn’t seen in a while: wins in both the viewers and the demos.

- Yesterday’s Sunday Night Football game (19.8 million, 7.6/19 in 18-49) hit a season-high rating.
- The Amazing Race (10.5 million, 3.1/8) was off by 600,000.
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (10.4 million, 3.0/7) lost 400,000.
- Family Guy (3.7/9) kicked off the evening with 7.4 million; Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show (3.4/8) attracted 6.6 million.

The Yankees struck another one out of the park last night for FOX. The game between New York and the Philadelphia Phillies was easily the hottest ticket this Sunday.

- Game 4 of the World Series (7.8 rating in 18-49) rallied 22.8 million.
- The Amazing Race (11.1 million, 3.2/8) was on par with last week.
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (10.8 million, 3.4/8) was up slightly.
- NBC’s broadcast of National Treasure (1.7/4) entertained 4.6 million.

- Sunday Night Football (5.2/13) pulled in 13.3 million for NBC.
